Omaha Bachelorette Party Guide

In recent years, there has been a rising trend of destination bachelorette parties. Vegas, Charleston and Scottsdale are all fantastic cities, but destinations aren’t convenient for every bride and their party. While we love a good destination bachelorette, we wanted to highlight our own city of Omaha and share ideas on how you can host an affordable stay-cation bachelorette, with the same excitement of getting out of town, to celebrate your bride-to-be. From the best brunch spots to dinner options and unique activities, here’s your guide to an Omaha bachelorette weekend:

  • Cottonwood Hotel
    For a resort style experience, the Cottonwood Hotel delivers sophistication in Blackstone. With its two restaurants, pool and cocktail bar, this is the perfect base for a bachelorette weekend. Keep an eye out for holiday pop up bars in their pool house, high tea, and rooftop events.

  • Hotel Deco

    An Art Deco gem with nods to the 1930’s. The Hotel Deco blends history and a contemporary boutique hotel experience. Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or dinner in their gorgeous Monarch Prime & Bar

  • Magnolia Hotel Omaha

    Built in 1923, the structure was designed to mimic the Bargello, a palace in Florence, Italy. If not occupied by an event, their beautiful courtyard is a great gathering spot for tasteful bridal games and cocktails.

  • The Peregrine
    This nouvelle art deco styled hotel offers a modern, boutique experience. Their Takeoff Rooftop Bar is open during warmer months and has unbeatable views of downtown.

  • Hotel Indigo
    Within another revitalized historic building, Hotel Indigo provides a contemporary atmosphere just a short walk from the Old Market. Consider reserving their speakeasy bar, Anna’s Place, which has some of the best crafted drinks in town.

  • Moxy Omaha 

    If you’re looking to stay right in the Old Market, Moxy Omaha is the way to go. The funky interiors will bring all of the positive energy for a fun-filled weekend.

  • Omaha Marriott Downtown 

    Located in The Capitol District with a sleek sophistication & engaging design. Weather permitting, bask in the sun in their 3rd story outdoor swimming pool or sip on curated whiskey flights at their Burdock + Bitters hotel bar.

  • Airbnb 

    If you want a more personalized experience, Airbnb offers an array of unique options in Omaha. Whether you’re looking for a downtown loft or a cozy house for your group, you’ll find plenty of options to suit your vibe.

  • Le Bouillon 

    Located in Omaha’s Old Market, Le Bouillon offers a take on French cuisine and has two great private rooms if your party is on the larger side. This chic bistro is perfect for a brunch, where you can enjoy dishes like croque madame or their kaiserschmarrn pancakes. A great dinner spot as well.

    1. The Grove
      Looking to start your day with wellness? Head to The Grove for smoothies, cold pressed juices and light bites. Their Farnam St location is on the edge of downtown and convenient for gathering with your crew or taking it on the go! Don’t forget to grab some juices and wellness shots for the next morning’s recovery.

    2. Orleans Room at The Cottonwood  
      Whether you’re staying at The Cottonwood or not, the Orleans Room is a great choice for an elevated brunch experience with comfortable seating. Plus, the hotel has unlimited photo ops. 

    3. Sips on 10th

      Did someone say mimosa trees? If you’re wanting a lively brunch spot, Sips on 10th is where it’s at. Known as a champagne bar, it’s a delicious place for a celebratory brunch. Their fun and upbeat ambiance will set the tone for a great day.

    4. Early Bird

      Early Bird serves up hearty breakfast favorites and unique brunch cocktails. The cheerful atmosphere is great for groups and is open every day. With multiple locations around town, their Blackstone location is conveniently located a quick drive from downtown.

      The Habitat at The Peregrine

      The Habitat is a great option for a light brunch on your way to the Joslyn Art Museum. With unlimited mimosas and a classic menu you’ll be ready to embark on the day’s adventures.

  • Memoir
    A beautiful restaurant with inventive dishes making it a standout for a bachelorette dinner that will leave everyone impressed.

  • The Boiler Room
    A rustic-chic loft eatery with a wine cellar serving craft cocktails & inspired New American fare.

  • Via Farina
    For those craving Italian, Via Farina is your go-to. With a wood-fired pizza oven and homemade pasta, their menu offers a fresh and delicious twist on classic Italian dishes. 

  • Clio
    Clio’s modern, Mediterranean concept is as much about the ambiance as it is about the delicious food. This spot will have you questioning if you’re in Omaha or across the sea.

  • Cattle Car
    After a night of celebration, you’ll want to fuel up with some hearty late-night eats. Cattle Car’s comfort food will hit the spot, providing the perfect end to a fun-filled night.

  • Mula
    Located in the Blackstone District. Great energy and food inspired by Mexican street food with fresh margaritas and of course, tequila shots. A perfect spot before or after karaoke at Renos.

  • KAMP

    Indecisive group with different wants? Head to KAMP,  an energetic food hall in Blackstone, where there is something for everyone. Be sure to ring the bell with ice shots.

  • Art Museum Tour
    Explore the Joslyn Art Museum. Public tours are free and held every Saturday at 10:30am, or you can schedule a private group tour. Modern art more your style? Check out an exhibition at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts or KANEKO, both just south of the Old Market. 

  • Duck-Pin Bowling and Bubbly at Châm Pang Lanes
    Who doesn’t love a little friendly competition? It’s a great way to bond with your group while enjoying some bubbles under the disco balls.

  • The Riverfront 

    Whether you’re visiting in the summer or winter it’s a fun way to enjoy the outdoors while staying active. Take a walk, roller or ice skate at the Skate Ribbon, or bring a picnic.

    1. Lauritzen Gardens

      Grab a cup of coffee from Hardy Coffee Co. and take a morning stroll through the botanical gardens to start your day. Entry fee of $10

    2. Floral Arrangement with The Greenhouse
      Try your hand at a floral arrangement workshop with The Greenhouse. Pick up some wine and snacks from iDLE Wine & Goods on your way over.

    3. Candle Making Classes

      Book a candle-making class at either Dundee Candle Co or Nomad Wax. You’ll create your own custom scents while enjoying time with your besties.

    4. Blue Sky Bar & Patio
      Whether you’re into pickleball, mini bowling, or karaoke, this entertainment venue has it all for a lively, unforgettable evening. 

    5. Creative Culture Studio

      Enjoy self guided projects, such as pottery painting while sipping milkshakes. Projects change seasonally.

  • The Old Market
    If you’re staying in the Old Market, you’re in a great location to bar hop between a mix of classic pubs and cocktail bars like The Berry and Rye. For a unique experience, grab a big booth at the Laka Lono Rum Club and share group tiki cocktails. Up the street and across from one another on 16th are The Green Room and Mercury, where you’ll find the best Old Fashioned in town. 

  • Little Bohemia
    Head a mile south of The Old Market to enjoy nightlife in the Little Bohemia neighborhood. With the few bar options, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy each other’s company with boozy shakes in the booths of Fizzy’s or beers at Lumen. Check for events happening at The Bohemian Gardens, challenge your friends to arcade games at Beercade 2, and for the best drinks of your life, hit up Tiny House and Platypus

  • Blackstone
    As mentioned in our What to Do section, an Omaha bachelorette must is karaoke at Reno’s in Blackstone. Walk along Farnam Street to find other delicious cocktails, but tucked behind the main strip you will find Corkscrew’s wine patio and the door to the speakeasy, Osteria Segreto

  • Benson
    A 10 minute Uber will lead you north west to the Benson neighborhood. Catch the sunset on the rooftop of The Tenant and enjoy many other outdoor spaces with a boot at Bärchen Beer Garden, margaritas at Taco Co., or a relaxing glass of wine at Eleven Eleven. For a cozier atmosphere, stop in to our owner’s favorite spot, Krug Park, or sneak below Ika Ramen to their not-so-secret bar, Kaitai
